The Edge Festival is postponed until 2021
We wish all Edge Festival supporters good health during this very difficult time.
Dear friends and supporters of the Solva Edge Festival
It is with great sadness that we have to inform you that we have decided to postpone the Edge Festival this year due to the Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic.
Coronavirus is impacting us all and following the events of the last week it has become very clear that we must postpone for the safety of all our supporters and the community of Solva.
The majority of festivals and scheduled gatherings like us are postponing until the Autumn or next summer. We are not in a position to postpone until the Autumn due to weather and the school holidays.
We have therefore decided to postpone the Edge Festival to the new dates of July 30th to August 1st 2021. Please put these dates in your diary and help us spread the word.
We have spoken to most of the bands including Chasing Mumford, Wild Boys, Kopycat Killers and Honey Fungus and all have agreed to perform next year on these dates. Our major suppliers of stage and security have all confirmed.. All have been extremely generous towards us under the circumstances so thank you to you all.
We will be in touch in the next few days with all of you who have purchased Early Bird tickets for the Edge Festival this year. As you know we are a small community charity that is organised and managed by volunteers who live here, so we would like to ask you to keep your tickets for the postponed festival in 2021 which of course will be valid then. However, we appreciate that for some of you that may be difficult and we will be in touch shortly offering refunds.
If you are a stallholder who has made a deposit we will be in touch with you shortly too.
We want to thank you all for your support of the Edge Festival. Many of you have come before. We wish you all very well and hope that you stay safe.
And most of all we really hope to see you all in 2021.
With best wishes from all of us at the Edge Festival
